Perspective is an amazing thing. If we are to use wisdom, we need to learn to look at more than one perspective to get the entire picture of a situation. Try this exercise to yourself sometime: Look at a situation in your life and speak about it negatively, then speak about it positively. Do this sincerely. Think about how each emotion feels as you do it . Write down your reflections and visit them a few days later.

Role play. Come up with a number of situations that you may encounter in life. As a family, practice reacting negatively, and then react positively to the situation. Talk about how it felt both ways and which you would prefer in a given situation.
